The Beryl & John Trust is a small charitable trust that has been set up at the bequest of Beryl and John Brown, deceased, to dispense small grants to local projects or to individuals living in or close to Belmont Rural Parish.
The funds are intended to help local community groups or charities to carry out small projects for the benefit of the local community, or for individuals who need financial assistance that cannot be obtained by other means, for example, this fund would be suitable for an environmental group looking to reclaim a piece of land, a project to benefit school age children, setting up a new Parent, Carers & Tots group or many other applications.
Individuals might apply for funds towards equipment for a new college place, setting up a small business, medical equipment not funded by the NHS or other needs not mentioned here.
